We’ll be removing invasive plants like garlic mustard to help our local ecosystem thrive. Teens can join and gain service hours!

Native Garden Tour

Mark your calendars! Join us for a FREE Mount Prospect Native Garden Tour. Visit as many gardens as you like, in any order, at the times that work for you. Stroll through 5 stunning yards filled with native plants and pollinator-friendly landscapes — learn, connect, and get inspired! Learn about composting, rain barrels use, reduction in pesticide use, shade and rain gardens. Garden addresses posted Friday before the event 8/15/25 on our Facebook PageInstagram, and website.

Go Green Mount Prospect is hosting a hands-on Textile Reuse + Recycling Pop-Up this September to inspire creative ways to extend the life of your clothes. Swing by our outdoor table to discover easy, creative ways to give old clothes new life — from darning holes and adding fun patches to upcycling kids' clothes and using iron-on designs.Bring a T-shirt to refresh!

This is a casual, drop-in event designed to get people thinking differently about what they wear — and how to waste less.
